Summary

Leading pay available for the right candidate. The applicant must have extensive NDE and unit inspector experience. This position will be responsible for managing multiple contract company NDE crews

Minimum requirements

Applicant must have seven to fifteen years of experience in NDE coordination with API & Level II certifications. Technically competent and knowledgeable in the application of the current inspection codes; proficiency in technical report writing and the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude is required.

Responsibilities

  • Has an overall responsibility for the day to day NDE work. Must comply with the responsibilities set forth by the client control procedures.
  • Coordinate NDE initiatives with unit inspectors for compliance.
  • Hold crews accountable for deliverables
  • Request of work permits for planned NDE work
  • Perform project management duties including but not limited to, interfacing with unit inspectors and engineers, and attending pre-job meetings with owner/user on an as-needed basis.
  • General tasks will also include, reviewing JSA’s, generating/replying to emails, assisting unit inspectors with interpreting field data, reviewing and interpreting film, coordinating training, interfacing/meeting with clients, and assisting with onboarding of new personnel.
  • Interface with client(s) on technical matters involving Rope Access and NDE procedures and capabilities.
  • Provide a professional appearance when interfacing with clients and other coworkers.
  • Stay abreast of any new developments in NDE technologies and Rope Access technologies that may be applicable in our business.
